Re: Kiwi in Dubai- results & photos

QF
Kiefer / Berdych - Andreev / Davydenko 6-3 (7)6-7 6-3

SF
Kiefer / Berdych - Björkman / Santoro (4)6-7 (5)6-7

It was obviously a nice fight on court no. 3. Kiefer/Berdych fought back from 6-7 3-5 and when they were 6-5 up, Björkman/Santoro needed about 15 minutes to win the 12th game. The match was completed short before midnight.

Re: Kiwi in Dubai- results & photos

Does anyone know what's going on with doubles? They didn't play today and they're not even listed on the ATP site as still to be played. I know there was a rain delay for matches during the Ljubicic/Henman match, but everything has since been completed. I cannot find if he pulled out of doubles like he did in Adelaide or if they're just playing tomorrow.

Re: Kiwi in Dubai- results & photos

okay, loss in quarterfinal to Robredo who also had impressive results... I wished he stayed in the tournament, but at least this week had two wins, one including over Safin

I'm a bit disappointed, but nothing bad like losing in first round to he likes of Beck or so...

Re: Kiwi in Dubai- results & photos

BTW... Kiwi is still active in doubles with Berdych, too.

Berdych/Kiefer def. Paes/Zimonjic 7-6(8) 6-2

So this means double action for him tomorrow, Friday. Singles and doubles. Hopefully Berdych can pull him through somehow if Kiwi won his singles match that he doesn't have to lose too much energy.

Re: Kiwi in Dubai- results & photos

Okay, as we all know, Eurosport headquarters is in Paris, so WTA gets more coverage 'cause they love to show Mauresmo, fine, but now they're showing trial jumps of ski jumping.... I like ski jumping, I really do, I've also been to Oberstdorf last week, but what the hell are they up to? I can't get my mind round this, it's just ridiculus, those f****** blogheads...Arrgh
