I love beer as well, I'm not a heretic.
Magners is my favourite cider, I think it's an irish cider.

Nice try but that one is retired for some time now. And at 45 IBU it is likely way too much for someone like you to handle.

Something like this is much more suitable for you:

Re: the BEER thread

Going back to seasonal beers, couple of the good local pumpkin (and other) ales I tried last couple of months.

Phillips Crooked tooth - very nice:

4 Mile Harvest Sweet Potato Ale:

Both are amazingly good. Most of local liquor stores run out of them quickly
Also tried some that are not good at all, but will not talk about them.

Now they all turn to chocolate and vanilla stouts or similar for Christmas season and frankly I am not a big fan of those.

An interesting one is Steamworks Blitzen Belgian Tripel - not really Chimay or Delirium Tremens, but more than decent:

Sorry, can't help you much here, not a big fan of ciders, so don't know much about them.

I go as far as Strongbow, which is quite popular one, but that is like saying "try Heineken or Stella" if you ask for a beer.

Anyway, if you have nothing to say on topic about the beer, please kindly vacate the thread, and stop off-topic trolling.

Thanks.

It is actually really goood. However a bit too strong for me at 8.5%. I liked Chimay above better.

Currently in Kathmandu, Nepal until Sunday, only fitting that would be drinking this:

Quite a big bottle, what we would call a longneck, so 2 of these and it hits the sides!
