Lol at this. He reached number 3 in 2007 and has been very much in his prime since then.

And being a young developing player is better than being an old dude. The reason being that a young player although inexperienced still has quick movement which is something you don't have as you get older. Federer's movement is slow these days and Novak is very good at exposing that. So Federer's wins over a young Djokovic are more impressive than Djokovic's wins over a 30+ Federer.

manadrainer Still most entertaining rivalry on the tour imho, even though Fed's age is really starting to be a factor.

Only caught up on a severely declined olderer who offered to play him way over his prime compared to the length of time Djokovic needed to develop his game.

Credit to Federer for keeping a close H2H against a player 5 years younger than him.
6 years, and if they would be the same age Novak would be like 25 ~ 15 against Federer. Most wins Roger got against Novak when he was young and still developing as a player.

7-6 in grand slams (and 2-1 in grand slam finals), 9-8 in Masters 1000, 3-1 at WTF, 10-5 in finals overall.

95% of Djokovic's 20 wins against Federer have been at the big tournaments, and 50% of those wins were in the final.
For Federer, those numbers are 75% at the big tournaments, and 25% in finals.

Re: H2h 20-20

Stupid discussion, everybody knows that Roger is the GOAT and Novak is the best at the moment..

The only way they'll keep the head to head at what it is, otherwise it will become ugly...fast.
