Re: Week 14: Tallahassee (Entry List)

Smyczek def. Dancevic 7-5 ret.

Frank hurt his back down set point. Retired immediately.

Sad, but congrats to Tim on his first challenger title!

Re: Week 14: Tallahassee (Entry List)

After the fact, I can say, I expected these two guys to win but that's easy for me to say now

Anyway, I think Frank is going to be tough to stop, he's too confident. But Smyczek to me is about the most risky opponent for him to play in the final. I really can see Tim pulling off the upset, but I still expect Frank to win it.

Re: Week 14: Tallahassee (Entry List)

Frank should beat Ito really, the other is really 50/50 though. I'm edging towards Ram though. Think he's got it to lose though.

Re: Week 14: Tallahassee (Entry List)

Both SF matches could really go either way. Frank based on general form and the fact he's the best player remaining has to be the favorite for the title, but the three guys remaining in the draw all can win. Smyczek is a Florida guy and motivated. Ram always finds the energy in US HC events. Ito is playing with house money after nearly losing in R1.
