Come on, he'll never win AO and RG even if Djokovic would get knocked out at both events.

I'm also surprised this isn't creating more buzz. But I guess Gulbis has been flying way too much under the radar in the last two years because of his bad form so even him bringing back Stefanki to the ATP tour isn't newsworthy.

Maybe he has a bet with someone. Or he just feels lonely very quickly.

Santoro dumped Stakhovsky (or Stakhovsky dumped Santoro).

Raonic has added Carlos Moya to his team.

For anybody that actually watched him play any of those matches at St. Petersburg, that wouldn't be too surprising. But you're right, I guess he totally faked his injury and missed the last month of the season for fun.

So the wincing and struggling to move throughout matches after he returned in the summer was all a fake. As was him missing the entire European indoor season to close 2015 (which is his strength)...I'm sure he made that up too.
Well I'm saying that it's hard to believe someone who isn't supposedly feeling well wins St. Petersburg.

if you seriously think that Raonic has some unfound potential that he can expose with 'proper training' then you're delusional. the guy has a great serve and power but no player can just magically create skills in touch/variety or make their legs move twice as fast

Raonic is stuck where he is lately partially due to injuries, yes, but permanently stuck below the top 5 due to his footspeed and his overall shotmaking. he has one plan: power play. there is no plan B. and because of that Raonic will never be a top echalant player. it sure as hell isn't Ljubicic's fault
For any player, there's a coach who can:
1. Make him better
2. Keep him just as good for an extended period of time
3. Do nothing good for him, or even do bad

Ljubicic falls in the 3rd group.

As for claiming this servebot underachieved... Lay off the dew for a while.

Re: Player/Coach Changes (Raonic splits w/ Ivan Ljubicic)

Maybe Ljubicic ended the relationship.

Or maybe Raonic ended the relationship because he didn't see enough value in paying Ljubicic [Raonic sounds like a tightwad to declare non-residency to avoid Canadian tax] for something that Piatti was predominately doing...
