Wow, I'm surprised. Looking at the posts for American players, there are not very many lol. Well, anyone at all know what's been going on with JMG's knee muscle tendinitis or something like that? I'm worried about him. BTW, he's an adorable man!  :hearts: :p

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!

I have been afraid of this happening for about two weeks now. Argh. But I don't have to choose at all. In my universe, no one is allowed to beat JMG, so that's that. Thanks for the info Sophie, made my work much easier since I was up so late last night (no, I wasn't partying).

 JMG... never mind, do well next week ahead of AO!

If he's playing anywhere next week, he will have to qualify...

Perhaps a challenger? Or unlikely?

#135 ·
Oddly enough, there are no challengers on the schedule next week (according to Steve G.).

good luck in the doubles :)

Thanks Sophie. That is going to be a very tough qualifying draw for him, but its closer to Melbourne and he may get to play doubles. I hope it works out well for him.

OMG JMG! Will play on court 6 tomorrow. The second match (after Jarkko vs Ryderstedt - I am SO distraught!!!!). He plays Raphael Durek, an Aussie. Maybe I can go cheer him on a little, cause a stir by being my usual patriotic self ;) He's seeded 6th in quallies.

#143 ·
take piccies and cheer him on Kristen :) you know you wanna ;)

I can't believe he's in the same quarter as Alex B. Hope you get to see him Kristen, but considering the first match you have to watch, I will understand if you don't.

Hey guys :wavey:
I caught him today after his second round match (2nd win of the day!) against Derer. A guy who reminds me of Jarkko but certainly doesn't play or act like him
I wished him all the best from you Fee, and asked how he's going... he said things are going good. I mean, he didn't say a great deal, but he looked quite happy.

The only thing that's gonna stop me from seeing him play tomorrow... is the Jarkko vs Clement(?) match :) I don't know if Jarkko can win, really... he only made it to the third round of quallies because his other two opponents retired!

And yes, photographs were taken ;) How could anyone resist taking several photos of that man

Email them to me. I can mark them for you if you need me to, just tell me what you want me to put on it. Thanks doll!

Bah! I replied and then got the 'under maintenance' screen

Anyway, I just said that I'll get them to you ASAP, but I'm not sure when they'll be done. I have plenty of time to scan them and stuff, just not enough hours in the day to drop them to the photo place and pick them up again... unless I can do it on Monday

The other thing I mentioned in my post (sent to oblivion?!) was, what's up with JMG and his ass?! Is it normal for him to pull his shirt up at the back, letting it hang at the front, before every point? Don't get me wrong, he has a lovely butt... but it was just so funny to see him doing it before the majority of points :haha:

Yes, he does (and bless him for it!). He lifts his shirt up before EVERY point, when he's serving, when he's receiving, when he's playing doubles. It's a shirt thing, he prefers it untucked but has to lift it up so that it isn't pulling tight when he bends. I've actually had one or two people ask me to thank him for doing that and I always forget to.

I like the way he wipes the sweat off his arms, on his back :D

He has almost as many twitches between points as Lleyton Hewitt. He wipes his face on his sleeves or he lifts his shirt to wipe his mouth (love that, did it right in front of me at Indian Wells and this odd sound came out of me that I have never been able to duplicate), adjusts his shorts, holds his racquet next to the ball in his left hand so he can shange his grip before serving, etc, etc. Burns a lot of calories between points I'm sure
