ATP World Tour final promises quality entertainment

The season ending ATP World Tour finals are on the horizon and the eight best players in men’s tennis are preparing to showcase their talents at the O2 in London, with the tournament beginning on Sunday November 20th.

Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Federer and David Ferrer were long confirmed for London, but at the Paris Masters they were joined by Tomas Berdych, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Mardy Fish to finalise the field for the prestigious tournament.

The five-time ATP World Tour finals champion Federer won that tournament in Paris to ensure he comes into London on the back of a 12-game unbeaten streak that has taken him to two successive titles. Those placing an ATP Finals London bet should remember this.

Djokovic and Fish are both suffering with injury problems that forced them to withdraw in Paris but are likely to be back and ready to play in London, while Nadal missed that tournament in the hope of being fighting fit for the O2.

Federer reckons there are going to be an "interesting couple of groups" for the tennis fans in London to enjoy, with most people predicting a repeat of 2010 when the Big Four of Nadal, Federer, Djokovic and Murray met in the semi-finals – something that has happened repeatedly throughout this season. Anyone looking at the Grand Slam betting will know all about this.

He added: "I do believe if Djokovic is fit, and Murray is fit as well, which it seems like he is, they're also going to be difficult to beat.
"And Rafa, regardless how he is going to be, he's always a tough customer. So I think it's going to be a really good World Championships."
If Federer is victorious in London, he will become the first player in history to win the ATP World Tour finals on six occasions.
