Erakovich wins second junior Doubles Slam

Posted 01-29-2005 at 09:07 AM by Human Washington
A complete mismatch by the look of it. Erakovich and partner (second seeds) defeated their 6th seeded opponents in super-quick time 6-0, 6-2. Erakovich is preparing for a senior I.T.F tournament in Wellington NZ next week, so her quarterfinal singles result, and her good doubles form will hopefully have given her some confidence.

Who is the NZ tennis number one player?

Posted 01-21-2005 at 02:40 AM by Human Washington
Gap closing between Nielsen and a growing pool of tennis talent.

Nielsen and GD Jones qualified for the NZ Heineken open winning a round-robin tournament against R.Statham, W.Ward, D.King-Turner, and A.Thompson.

However R.Radovanovich(barrred from the roundrobin because he will coach, rather than play as a "pro" in 2005) won the NZ residentials in late December 2004.

More recently Dan King Turner as the NZ Herald reports on 17 January...
