yes i knew it was only a matter of time. She was obviously playing a game with the admins, and i guess it must be what she wanted.

I'm sad because Leena was one of the few people on the tennis boards who i admired and felt a sort of community with. She could be intellectual, sentimental, outraged, hilarious, ironic, coy - and she seemed secure enough with herself not to care whether anybody noticed all these becoming sublime features of her personality.

This is the first entry in my online tennis diary. I don't want to call it a "blog" because as Leena (who seems to be the chief "Blogger" around these parts) noted, that is just an ugly-ass word. It sounds like some sort of futuristic slang for taking a dump, and i hope it goes out of fashion soon. I can't promise that i'll have the time and the inclination to write very often.
