Itís supposed to be a fun day on the sea. We went to the talk about what to do when leaving the ship next day and did a little shopping. We ended up only with 2 bottles of vodka. Little Lee had a late night party with the Camp Carnival from 10pm to 3am. He was very excited when he returned to our room. As a result, he slept almost till 1pm. We had a late lunch. I had a facial later as my skin was still terrible from the sunburn. Of course, the lady tried to sell all those facial products...

We arrived in Ensenada early in the morning. We joined a tour this time. Itís called the Gold Coast Tour and it was a HUGE disappointment. The first stop was at the cultural center of Ensenada. The center is a historic building right across the pier where Paradise docked. Itís not pretty and quite run down. Next stop was a beach about 30 miles from Ensenada near a town called Rosita. Thereís a resort with rooms and RV sites. Not as pretty as some of the beaches along Southern California...

The ship spent the day in Catalina Island. We didnít get any information from the crew of Paradise. Hubby and little Lee wanted to snorkel but we didnít know where. Hubby asked the pursers on the ship and she was not very forecoming with information. She suggested we joined the tour but thatís for people without equipment and knowledge, which was not the case for us. So we slept late and left the ship in the afternoon. We didnít bring the gears with us. It turned out the cove for snorkeling...

The non-stop sightseeing in San Diego took its toll when we were in Long Beach. We woke up late that morning so we wandered around in Long Beach instead of visiting the Aquarium of the Pacific. We were quite full from our breakfast so we didnít have lunch before we board the cruise ship Paradise. It seemed to take forever and we finally had lunch at about 4pm. The room was OK. Little Lee didnít like the bunk bed so I was the one that climbed it every night. Dinner setting was late at 8pm....

We visited the Wildlife Park today. It's better than the SD Zoo IMO. Little Lee had a great time feeding the lorikeets (?sp) and the ducks. Too tired to have a detail report. We saved $8 parking by arriving early. It's about 20 minutes before the park open and the guy in the parking booth just sent us up the parking lot. And we can park right by the entrance.

We left for Long Beach after the Park. I made a mistake on taking I-15 instead of I-5 so it's a bit longer and...
