The past few weeks had all been about catching bugs. From influenza which restricted me to my bed for days to streptococcal pharyngitis which I admit was aggravated by 40 bars of chocolate I had in my backpack when we jungle trekked. You may just be walking down the street minding your own business not knowing what your nasals will catch.
But then there is a pathogen (let's call it pathogen for the sake of...err...pathology ) that is circling around town wildly stimulating depressive...

I called my friend and it's confirmed, we are going on a trip to Underground River. Hmmm, shall I pack muscle relaxant tablets? C'mon, it's been years since I went on a back-breaking, knee-shaking mountain climbing activity.
Studying and living in the urban jungle after high school marked the end of my climbing and spelunking days. I knew something must have gone wrong when my form of adventure had dramatically changed from mountain climbing and cave-exploring to shutting off my alarm clock...

When you're working from 6 AM to 7 PM (with gazillion things required to be completed at the end of the day on an almost empty stomach, i.e. on a piece of soda cracker, water and Vitamin C and B complex), the last thing you want to see is another batch of to-do-lists. And that is exactly what I discovered when I got home from work. I found eight--- yes, eight neon yellow post it stickers strategically located around the house, all contaning unfinished tasks.
Why did I ever get back...

I don't know how many dogs, or cats, or birds I've had, I've lost counting. My pet was a two-year old parrot. And one of the first few words he learned was MARAT (Alright, so I get animated when watching tennis). While I was watching the 2004 Hopman Cup (Marat vs James Blake) on TV with him, he turned into a maniacal bird as he shrieked, "Marat ugly! Marat ugly!" I did not know if I should laugh or spank him. Obviously, my parrot did not possess good taste when it comes to men. What does...
