It is going to be a very different tournament at the All England Club when it hosts the Olympic tennis competition - and not just because for the first time an all-white uniform will not be compulsory.

The home of Wimbledon is going to play host to the tennis tournament of the London Olympics in 2012 during July and August. This is going to be only 20 days after the culmination of Wimbledon itself, meaning a host of familiar figures will return to the courts where they will have experienced...

American men's tennis has nose-dived over recent years and the dominance which has been seen over recent decades seems to be over, meaning there is little chance of the home crowd witnessing an American lifting the US Open trophy.

Pete Sampras used to warn American tennis fans that they were spoilt, as for years they had the era where Jimmy Connors and John McEnroe dominated, then the likes of Sampras, Andre Agassi, Jim Courier and Michael Chang took over their mantle.

Andy Roddick has made it public knowledge that he is looking to add to his only Grand Slam win at the US Open and he has started off well on this mission.

The 27-year-old is currently ranked number nine in the world by the ATP and has only won one Grand Slam, which was at Flushing Meadows back in 2003.

Since that date he has lost in four finals, three of which were at Wimbledon and one at the US Open, and Roddick is looking to improve on some recent poor form which...

Is there any possible way that Roger Federer could get any better? Well if there was the Swiss star is going the best way about it by getting the man that helped Pete Sampras dominant behind him.

Federer has had a disappointing few months but still holds the record for Grand Slam victories with 16, although he has not won a title since lifting the Australian Open in January.

He lost his record of reaching 23 consecutive Grand Slam semi-finals when losing to Robin...

There seems to be something in the water affecting tennis stars recently as now two of the world's top four have changed their coach.
Hot on the heels of the news Roger Federer was going to be coached by Paul Annacone on a trial basis, Andy Murray has now revealed he has parted ways with his coach Miles Maclagan.

There have been rumblings of discontent within the camp and the Telegraph has claimed that Maclagan was sick of "playing third wheel" to Alex Corretja...
