Andy Murray regained his composure to silence Carlos Berlocq and book his place in the quarter-finals of the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells.

The world number three defeated his Argentine opponent 7-6 (7-4) 6-4 but it was not straightforward for the US Open champion, who was less than impressed with the noise coming from the other side of the net. He described Berlocq's grunting as "extremely, extremely loud" and accused the 30-year-old of gamesmanship.

British number one Andy Murray says he feels refreshed after his break from action and is ready to make his mark at the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells.

The 25-year-old has not featured on the circuit since his painful defeat to Novak Djokovic in the Australian Open final. He based himself in Miami ahead of the first ATP Masters 1000 event of the season.
