Spanish tennis ace, Rafael Nadal, has disappointed fans of the BNP Paribas Paris Masters, by withdrawing from the competition. The player says that he wants to concentrate on the end-of-season ATP World Tour Finals, which kick off on November 20 in London, and the Davis Cup final, beginning November 28.

Former world number-one, Roger Federer, will be hoping to have fully recovered from a number of injury "niggles" before he starts his ATP World Tour 500 Swiss Indoor campaign, held in his home town of Basel. The 30-year old recently saw his world ranking drop a place, down to fourth behind Andy Murray, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. Federer will now be hoping to finish what has been a disappointing season by claiming his fifth title at this tournament in six years. People looking at...

Current world number-one, Caroline Wozniacki, will this week be looking to claim the WTA Championship title in Istanbul, which would see her finish the season still ranked number-one in the world. The Dane needs to either win the tournament, or reach the final with two or more victories in the round-robin stage, if she is to finish the season as the world number-one, a position she has held for the entire season, despite once again failing to win a Grand Slam.

Wozniacki will have...
