Cattle Drive

Today I was driving to the next town south of us and ran into a cattle drive. The traffic had to slow way down and wait for the herd to stream by us. The cows had that adorable slightly bewildered look at cows always seem to have. There were brown cows with sweet big pink noses and black cows with shiny black noses and white faced cows. They had a hard time deciding which side of the road to be on and were sort of braiding all over the highway. But too soon they were all by and we could drive...

There IS a santa clause

Yes, Virginia, Utah does have tourist towns and not all of them are ski resorts.

We are outside two national parks. Arches N.P. and Canyonlands N.P.

Here is a photo of one of the about 2,000 arches in Arches N.P with 12,000 foot mountains in the background.
