Martina lost her final today Oh well, @ least it wasn't to a terribly player. Elena must have played well.... I actually hope Ivan & Tommy win their finals today. (I bet on them) Well I think I'll go eat lunch now....I'm starving :S

I thought I'd enjoy the readings I'd have to do for class, but British Lit. is giving me fits right now. While I enjoy reading for adolescent literature, I don't know why I have trouble with the stuff I read for Brit. Lit.

Not all of it is hard for me to grasp; it's just that some of the stuff is boring to me. I love to read, and I realize that not all things are fit for consumption, but still.....I have to read for class, and some of the stuff is not sinking in for me right now....

So today I watched some golf. :clap2: {Women's golf of course} :drink: It's actually quite an exciting sport once you get into it...And now I have a favourite player. :woohoo: Her name is Catherine Cartwright and she is beautiful. :silly: Next year I plan to go to the Gold Coast to watch the ANZ Ladies Masters. :drive:

I was also very excited to see that Elena Dementieva won her first Tier 1 title of her career. :music: :rocker2: :rocker: And she did it in style with a 6-2, 6-0 flogging over some swiss 25 year old unknown player who isn't even ranked in the top 100. I think her name was Martina Hingis or something like that. :p A doughnut in the second set. :o

So it's NBL finals time here in Australia and Wednesday night is Bullets Vs Wildcats. Hope the Bullets will take revenge from their previous three encounters and end the Wildcats season. :ras:
Then Thursday night is Taipans Vs Pirates. Only the second time in Cairns' history they have a home final so let's hope they pull through. :nerner:

:bigwave:...
