World number eight, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, is still aiming for a spot at the ATP World Tour Finals in November in London, despite missing large parts of this season through injury.

The Frenchman has to miss the US Open with the same knee problem that saw him withdraw from his second round encounter with Ernests Gulbis at Wimbledon back in June.

Tsonga faces strong competition for one of the final spots including from Milos Raonic who claimed his fifth title of his career...

The aftermath of Federer and Murray's defeats in the US Open 2013 got me thinking:

This year since the end of the Miami Masters (even during that - Ferrer had match points against Murray but lost) has been VERY weird. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this year, no one has exceeded 3 titles this year - except Nadal. In From what I remember the Madrid Masters SF list was not your usual Clay SFers - except for Nadal. In one sense, Murray has now proved to his doubters in the tennis betting that he can do it when it matters most and the fact he now...

John McEnroe says he doesn’t believe Roger Federer will ever win another Grand Slam title ahead of the US Open.

The Swiss star recently dropped to seventh in the world rankings, his lowest position for over a decade and after previously dominating the game, he has now won just one of the last 14 majors, the 2012 Wimbledon Championships.

Punters who bet on tennis realise that at 32, injuries are perhaps inevitably starting to affect his form while following years of...
