Wimbledon is viewed by many, including myself, as the greatest tennis tournament in the world. It is held every year during June and July and is the oldest competition dating back to 1877. It is one of four Grand Slam tennis tournaments, with the other three Majors being the US Open, the Australian Open and the French Open.

Rafael Nadal, current world number two, is known as one of the greatest tennis players of all time. He has claimed a total of ten Grand slam titles, including: six French Opens, two Championships (Wimbledon), the Australian Open once and the US Open once.

The first time Nadal managed a victory at Wimbledon was back in 2008, defeating the Swiss legend Roger Federer in the final. The last time the Spaniard claimed a win at Wimbledon was in 2010 where he beat Czech Republic international Tomas Berdych in the final.

Can he win the final again? The answer would have to be yes. Nadal has been a real force in the game since his arrival on the professional tennis scene back in 2001. Also, the Spaniard has had experience of winning the Wimbledon Grand Slam event on two separate occasions giving him an advantage over many of the other players. The Wimbledon betting generally consider Nadal as the third favourite to win the menís singles at this yearís Wimbledon with odds of around 4/1.
