New York's morning

It's between 7 and 8am, and , as always, I am riding my E subway train to work. Every day starts like that. In this last car of E train. I look around.. I see tired and sleepy faces.. How many hours of sleep did they get this night,5 or 6? This is how their day in Manhattan starts too.. In this car.. People of different occupations, races and nationalities.. Who wake up at 6am every day of the week to earn their living.. Now they are quiet, and eyes of many are closed. This gorgeous African-American woman stands next to me with closed eyes and IPod's earphones. What is she listening? Or maybe these earphones are meant to grant her few more moments of quietness this morning. No need.. it is still quiet, only sounds of train moving.. This Jewish man again stands few feet from me. Just like yesterday.. I can recognize many of them by now.. And almost miss them when I don't see them for several days .. in this car.. My sleepy, tired, hardworking darlings.. I love you all..
