I'm sorry for neglecting this blog... that is, if there's someone reading it!

Been around here but not as often as before, blame it on my sucky class schedule. It's ok, I've been managing and I'm doing fine so far.
Davis Cup 1st round just happened... Happy about Argentina, sad about the US. I saw the latter coming. But I was there supporting my country as well, and we won!!! Venezuela d. Peru 4-1 and it was fantastic. Jose Antonio De Armas, our number 1, won both his singles matches and the doubles match too. I can say we had a slight chance when it was announced that Luis Horna wouldn't play singles but doubles, but anyway our guys did an excellent job and I couldn't be more proud. Now, we'll face Canada, here, April 29/30/May 1st. It was just announced it'll take place in Valencia [which is 3 hours away from here - Caracas]. I hope I can go, at least 1 day. And it'll be on clay surface
Here's my collection of pics from the Venezuela vs Peru tie:

Now we're having Indian Wells, first Masters Series of the season. Gaudio lost 2nd round vs Kiefer, after winning 1st round vs Mirnyi. His 1st round result was great given his injury and the fact that it's on hardcourt, where Mirnyi feels more comfortable. I'm glad, though, that Gastón didn't get more injured... In my opinion he shouldn't have played so soon, but he seems to be ok, not 100% but at least getting better.
