Choose a Mens Tennis player (Past or Present) of your liking. You have 400 points to be distributed amongst 4 surfaces (Hard, Clay, Grass, and Indoor). You may put a maximum of 115 points to one surface and a minimum of 90. You also have one Tiebreak Bonus which you will assign to one of 4 surfaces. These points can only be distributed once and may not be rearranged.
Scoring System
When sending in points, you must split your surface points into 3 sets, 5 for Grand Slams. You will send points for each match you play and be compared with your opponent’s points. Differences in points between players per set is as :-
51 pts. or more - the set is 6-0
41-50 - the set is 6-1
31-40 - the set is 6-2
21-30 - the set is 6-3
16-20 - the set is 6-4
10-15 - the set is 7-5
7-9 - the set is 7-6(0)
6 - the set is 7-6(1)
5 - the set is 7-6(2)
4 - the set is 7-6(3)
3 - the set is 7-6(4)
2 - the set is 7-6(5)
1 - the set is 7-6(6)
For example :
PLAYER A sends :
1. 20
2. 70
3. 10
PLAYER B sends :
1. 3
2. 91
3. 6
PLAYER A won 6:4 3:6 7:6(3)
TieBreak System
This system is applied when there is no difference. Each player has bonus Tiebreak in one surface. The one with the Bonus on Tiebreak will win it by 9-7. If no player has bonus on tiebreak the lower ranked will pass through with a tiebreak of 10-8. If both have bonus tiebreak the highest ranked player will pass through with an 11-9 tiebreak.
Extra Bonus
Player ranked First 5 points more on each surface.
Players ranked Second-Fifth 3 points more on each surface.
Players ranked Sixth-Tenth 1 point more on each surface.
Usa players playing at home 1 point more on each surface.
Europeans playing at Europe 1 point more on each surface.
Europeans playing at home 2 points more on each surface.
South Americans playing at home 3 points more on each surface.
South Americans playing at South America 2 points more on each surface.
Australasians playing at Australasia 2 points more on each surface.
Doubles
In Doubles points will be a sum of the two players playing in each team.
New players can sign up their players here:

Ljubicic (on his loss): Berdych played very well at the important points, and he won because of that. Third set was close, but as i said, he played better at the important points.
Q: You had 3-0 lead in the second set, what happened?
IL: I couldn't concentrate, i think i also had 30-40, break point on that 3-0 lead. I didn't convert it, and then i lost my service game.
Q: You played really bad at the beginning of the 3rd set. Was that because he broke your serve for second set?
IL: Yeah, i think so. I was thinking that i might finish the job in 2 sets, but it went in the third, and because of that i didn't start well.
Q: But when you came back, did you think that you'll win?
IL: I tried not to, i was thinking that in the second set, and lost it, after i was down 1-4, and came back, i was focusing to hold my serve. I did that, and it went to a tie break.
Q: What happened there? You won only 2 points.
IL: Well, he was serving first, and had 1-0, and then i made DF, and a BH error. That was 0-3, he didn't lose a point on his serve in the TB, he was really serving good. He went to 5-2 and then close it out.
Congrats to Berdych :)

I have a suggestion, there should be some scratch teams made up, so the doubles can take place.
Interview with Luis Horna
Juan I Chela def Luis Horna 6-0 0-6 7-6
Q: It seemed like a very strange match for the first two sets. What happened in the first set?
Horna : Well, I do not like the early starts for my matches. I like to sleep in, have a few empanadas and then practice. Since, I am professional we have to do some thing you no like at times, no.
Chela is very solid player and would make a very good nightclub doorman, if he wants another job after tennis and he kicked my ass badly.
Q: After the thrashing in the first set, you turned it around in the second set. How did that happen?
Horna: I start my season a bit late with injuries, so after a very good event in Monte Carlo, it is difficult to follow up again the next week, no. I start to realise that I am not playing pelota in the 1st set and concentrate better and was able to bring him forward and take my chance to give back the bagel.
Q: The third set was high quality tennis, but you fell apart in the tiebreaker?
Horna: Chela is not number 1 cause of his looks, he is a very tough player and the fact that he is legally allowed to have some extra help is not good for the game, and definitely was in his favour at the end of the match. Inspite of this, it does not mean I played the big points well, after coming back from 3-5 and 5 match points to get it to the tiebreaker and lose it 7-0 leaves a very empty feeling, no. He is a very good number 1 and this is what we have to try and compete with.
Q: You said Chela has legally allowed help, what do you mean?
Horna: You see this FMTA is a very good game, but there needs to be some of the rules looked at. Every player should have the best possible chance to win and certain players getting bonus points, because where they play and where they are ranked is not good to me. I mean if I beat Chela, why I not getting bonus points, this does not happen.
I think there needs to be a vote among the players about the rules. Like I know when I play on grass, I have virtually no chance of winning, but that is Ok, because I choose clay as my surface.
Like last week with Montcourt he has 115 and I have 115 points and Montcourt wins the match, as he was better in the match and this is what it should be. It’s like if I play on grass with 90 points and someone 111, then I no want bonus points.
Q: Thanks for your time and where do you go next?
Horna: No problem, I want to play doubles with Massa and I am going to watch Barcelona play and I saw Espanyol play last night in the UEFA Cup and they were very good.
Off to Estoril and then we see.

The coach Edgardo Massa wishes to issue a statement to the TD.
Yayo Massa was out before his match and after having too many beers, and went to the Gordo club instead of the Godo tennis, therefore having to miss his singles match.
He likes Barcelona as a city, maybe too much :p and wants to apologise for missing his singles match. Yayo did catch up with Saviola, Messi and King Oscar Hernandez.

The TD accepts the apologise as they understand Yayo wanting to have a beer instead of playing tennis :p

Press interview with world #1 J.I. Chela following his sixth straight win:
Q: First off, congratulations on another semifinal berth. How have you been preparing for your matches, in which you seem to be in such fine form?
Chela: Well, thank you for your kind words. I have really been following my same physical regiment as always; practicing hard, particularly my return game, with my partner Pim-Pim. You know if I can return him, I can return anyone. I think the difference for me has been my mental game. Early in my career I would check-out of matches after being down, but now I feel I can fight and fight and hopefully grind out a win.
Q: With all this training, it doesn't seem as if you've had much down time.
Chela: You know, I must do what is necessary to be the best. If I want to succeed, I must be prepared for fight in every match. Of course I'd love to have a beer with my countryman Yoyo Massa, but that is what the off season is for, even though it is much short.
Q: How do feel about your next opponent, the youngster Podlipnik?
Chela: Well, he's a very nice player and think you should expect big things from him sooner, not later. You know, we played a tight 3-setter in the semis last week, which came down to a few points at the end. I would expect another close one tomorrow.
Q: Finally, how nice is it for you to be back on the dirt after hardcourts for the first part of the season?
Chela: Obviously for me it is good. You know, I've been doing very good on the clay, but I really feel I can succeed on any surface if I keep in-form.....and lay off the beers. ;) Thanks for the questions, but I have to rest for tomorrow. I hope the fans will continue to support me as they have been doing all year. :worship:
