hmm I don't care about either of the 4pm singles matches.... so I think I'll probably watch the one on the smaller court b/c the atmosphere is so much better :)

And because you're such a good friend that you want to tell me later all about how Alex kicked Dmitry's ass all over the court ;) .

I feel like this tournament is going so slow...

Actually.... I don't think I'm going to go over today. I just woke up and I don't feel too well and I'd rather rest up for the long day tomorrow will be, just go to class, take a hot shower, go to bed early, eat good meals here and rejuvinate. If the drive were 10 minutes, I'd go, but it's kind of a trek to go for a whole bunch of matches I don't care that much about lol

OK Tennis724...I'm going to have to take the other side of that bet...I think Dmitry will take out Alex (even though Alex won the last time they played). The winner of this match has a really good opportunity to make it to the semis!

Thanks guys, my throat feels better already. I woke up and it was really scratchy, and that's bad b/c I have to sing for a jury of voice students for my voice class on Monday!

Tomorrow will be a fun day and I'll be looking forward to it, but today I'm just going to go to class and take it real easy and watch some tv that I taped during the week and stuff :)

Sorry, no. My main concern is Alex so that's the only info I've been given from my friend that called.

I believe Tursunov has applied for US citizenship...

I dunno about that but it could be true. He's only been back to Russia once since moving to the U.S. at age 12 1/2. He's married. Perhaps his wife is a U.S. citizen.

This is from the CBS site.

Tursunov is still Russian but has applied for American citizenship. A process that can take many years.

Dmitry Tursunov def. Alex Bogomolov Jr. 6-3 3-6 6-2

I knew that it was going to go 3. The previous two times did. But at least this scoreline wasn't as weird as the others.

I didn't even look that far. So it would've been a rematch if Alex would've won and probably a SF

Maybe that entered his mind in the 3rd *sigh*. I'll never know though because I wasn't there!!!!

It said Sanguinetti was up 3-2 and now says Blake is up 4-3 so I assume James broke...
