Come on Horna, Pavel, Squillari and Haas.

It looks like Roddick might be on the way to becoming the Houston claycourt legend.

Hey, Bunk! Are you still going to try and cheer on Alex & Taylor in doubles tonight ;) ? Or that match probably clashes with your other must-see matches? Poor thing, so many matches and only one you :) .

I really want to see the match so I'll try like hell. The problem is that the court they're playing on is clear across the grounds from the stadium and other show court. BAH to the tournament for crappy scheduling. I'm hoping some matches will take longer than others so that things end up being staggered so I can at least see some of them all.

I'm definitely going to see Robby/Tommy and depending on how that goes I will try to see Pavel/Lapentti as well. Then I'll stick around for whatever happens on the Simmons court next (the Senator!)... then I'll decide what to do about doubles, unless the previous matches take too long and they overlap with Andy's match. *puts on running shoes!!*

yes, maybe it was raining but just assuming that because there are no scores on the ATP site or somewhere else is not the reason, because yesterday it was the same

the scores have been very slow... so slow

well, actually I don't think it is/was raining... look at Texas on this map... no clouds, nothing...

glad to see that... thank God there was no rain delay... 7-6 and 3-3 for Haas, also considering the lag of time until scores arrive from Houston... I think they could continue on time then

I'm happy that Haas pulled this very close 1st set out!!!

Here's the update Haas won 6-4 in the second

Nico Lapentti lost.... score unknown

Melzer is up at set (most likely... last known score was 5-2)

Martin and Squillari are underway.... score unknown, but there is a lot of cheering so perhaps Martin is doing well.

The office will not give out any scores. I already tried that last night. There's no point in getting mad or nasty to the people who work in the office. They aren't being given any scores and don't know anything. Obviously, they have been instructed not to put calls through to the press room or to the locker room where the scores are known.

I just pleasantly said to the woman that the website needed a scoreboard and it was unfortunate they didn't have one. I asked her to pass the message along to Mac next time she talked to him. She laughed. :)

Maybe because a lot of us aren't American?????

Also I am a proud Aussie but that doesn't stop me betting against Hewitt and Phillipoussis when the sensible bet is on the opposing player - always bet with your head, not your heart!

Speaking of Americans can anyone explain why the country that invented the Internet can't even put live scores on a website??? Pathetic.

PS. Anyone know the score in the Melzer-Behrend match is?

I think livescore.com also can't do shit if they don't get the scores provided by another source (official tournament live score, ESPN, TV, CBS, Yahoo etc.)... there are people who run livescore.com sitting in front of computer but there are definately no livescore.com people at the tournament to report scores on direct way from Houston.

They looked really solid out there last night in the early stages of the match (which is all I saw). Mardy served the first game and had a couple aces and service winners. I just thought...... if he'd served like that in his singles match he would have won :(
