Ljubo says he is 70% about coming this year and they are saving a WC for Nadal. I dont think he ll come but maybe Moya could do something about that this year.

Moya coming for sure, I think Ljubo won't come, he isn't coming for the last few years. Rasberger is in Paris, negotiating with Nadal, who said he doesn't know yet, like he isn't sure about that. I don't think he'll come though.

I hope Karlovic plays here. He is doing pretty well on clay the last two years and he has good chance of reaching quartersfinals or so here. If he chooses L.A the chances of winning the first round are very less.(He could lose to some unknown names like Brain wilson. )

It's officialy confirmed that players like: Ancic, Ljubicic, Davydenko, Djokovic, Wawrinka and Moya will come to Umag and Nadal will probably come too because Nadal won his first title in Croatia, a doubletitle. Before that he didn't won nothing! It is impressive that a player like Nadal wins his first title in Croatia.

if the negotiations work out.(appereince money etc) Nadal will play here. But nevertless the field is great.

BTW considering the fact karlovic is playing gstaad and stuggart he might get a WC or may get in directly. So it is good see top three croats play in thier homeland.

The strongest field so far.
Official list will be published on Wednesday, but it seems that there will be Rafael Nadal, Nikolaj Davidenko, Ivan Ljubicic, Novak Djokovic, Carlos Moya, Guillermo Canas, Igor Andrejev, Filippo Volandri, etc.
Nadal is still not 100% confirmed but it seems that he will play Umag if he enters second week of Wimbledon. In that case he will skip Bastad.
