Don't forget Rafael Nadal!

Oops.. of course!

Lieve, John usually plays in Rosmalen, but it could well be he needs a wildcard. But I think you can expect him to play ;)

Although I already expected it, and his official site stated the tournament in his schedule, this is still GREAT news:

Tommy Robredo(!!) is coming to Rosmalen again!!!

Wooooo! And since Rafael is coming too, there might be a good chance they are playing doubles together (he played doubles as well last year, with Portas I think.. I didn't see it..)! This is great news :)

great news for coocy

04-16-2004, 03:46 PM
Yes! :) Him not showing up would startle me and make me sad :o :p I had expected his presence, of course, but it's still great news, because watching Tommy on grass is the best there is in singles! Yes, I like Tommy most on grass ;) I know I am weird..

OK My hopes that Tommy Robredo and Rafael Nadal will play doubles together in Rosmalen are gone.. Unfortunately, Rafael won't be playing in Rosmalen due to a foot injury.

Well, there's a chance Rafael is playing at the Ordina Open.
His recovery is ahead of schedule and his goal is to come back the week for Wimbledon, there's even a small chance he can make it to Roland Garros. :worship:
I'm really happy about that, because I would really like to meet Nadal. :)

Gisela Dulko..

The male players haven't been announced just yet (STILL not) so I am still waiting for that. It's taking forever, but Acasuso, Callerí and Cañas have played in Rosmalen before, so maybe if you're lucky ;)

CooCooCachoo
06-07-2004, 11:42 AM
He's never done so in the past.. But you can always hope ;) I think it more likely that he plays Rosmalen, than Nottingham, but I don't think he will play at all.

If he's really going to play, I''ll buy tickets for the monday as well (not that he'll play then, but I guess he needs to practise somewhere). On the saturday (I got tickets for that day already) he's propably not in the tournament anymore.

marat is the main reason for me getting extra tickets :p

LOL Mandy.. That's true :)

Legolas, it's on his official website that he will play in Rosmalen, so that's great for the tournament. I am not a fan (far from) but I would like to see him one day ;) I don't see him doing very well in Queen's, so maybe he'll be there already this Sunday. I hope to be going on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as well. Am now doubting whether I should buy tickets in advance or not..

CooCooCachoo
06-08-2004, 07:56 AM
If they'd show the commitments already.. I am dying to see whether Karol (Kucera) will play or not..

CooCooCachoo
06-08-2004, 08:01 AM
Oh, btw, I am getting some pictures enlarged to get signed: Andrei Pavel (still have this one.. he'd better play), Elena Dementieva, Paola Suarez (WOOO!), Nadia Petrova, Mary Pierce, Justine Hénin-Hardenne, Katarina Srebotnik & Tina Krizan & Kristen Schlukebir! :) Have none of Tommy left that need to be signed LOL.

Haha.. I guess you are allowed to dream ;).
They are normally not telling which players withdrew untill the very last day. Last year everybody knew Marat was injured and not going to play in Rosmalen and still they kept his name on the Ordina Open website, just to keep the ticket sells up :(. So please, don't get your hopes up and count on Marat being there... unless you read it on a reliabe source other than the Ordina site... Personally I think he's not gonna be there...

MAURESMO HEADS FOR EASTBOURNE
Amelie Mauresmo is to play in the Hastings Direct International Championships in Eastbourne next week.

The 24-year-old Frenchwoman, who has won titles in Berlin and Rome this year, is now likely to be named top seed for the pre-Wimbledon tournament at Devonshire Park.

Mauresmo, who reached the French Open quarter-finals last week, will join 18 of the world's top 30 players in Eastbourne.

so you wont get her here, im happy that shes at eastbourne! would love to see her play, and now i can

joes
06-10-2004, 07:52 PM
No Mauresmo??? Pity.... And can I join in the rant about the Ordian site??? Players list must be the best kept secret around. Grrr. Don't think Nadal will be there either. As Wimbledon is almost ruled out, no reason to play a lead-up tourney.

Snoopy_Girl
06-10-2004, 08:31 PM
Exactly. I didn't think the Ordina site could get any crappier than it was last year.. well apparently, it can :(

On Rainer's official site, only Halle and Wimbleton are on his schedule for grass court this year.

That's strange cuz one of the only names the crappy Ordina site DOES name is Rainers

CooCooCachoo
06-11-2004, 10:08 AM
Now I see it on the Eastbourne site..

It can't get much worse now can it.

Possible no Mauresmo, Safin, Dementieva, Schüttler.. :(

And Snoopy, I will post the list here but I don't think they are going to give me the lists anyway. The tournament is RUBBISH this year so it seems.. But I am still looking forward to it. It's quite cheap too though, from Eastbourne. They probably just offered more money or something?

And there is NO way tickets are €20. If they are that expensive, they are ripping people off. Wokkeltje, did you just make that number up :p

PANORAMA

MAURESMO A EASTBOURNE

Bonne nouvelle ! - A. OK The oh so friendly *AHEM* people of the tournament responded to my e-mail:

Geachte heer Mos,

- Since when does a tournament not know what players it has for qualifying at 9 o'clock in the evening on Friday, when the qualifying event starts the day after and the drawing procedure has already been held? Right.. Liars!

Thanks Maratgirl, but I have been going to Rosmalen for a lot of years already and I know that getting there by public transport is absolute rubbish. Fortunately, I found someone who will drive me to Gouda, where I can then take a train, so it shouldn't be too hard.
