Didn't get to watch it, but it certainly wasn't as close as people expected.

Nole isn't going to let the curse on seeded players get him :yeah:

Dissapointed not to see a closer match, looks like Nole has way too much atm for Korolev. Anyway well done, Zhenya and keep it up, Nole, you champ :yeah:

Could anybody see some of this?

Wow!!!
I didn't expected a so clean result. For the stats Nole simply destroyed Korolev. :speakles:

First serve points won: ND 92% EK 35% -----> that's say a lot ;)

good form from Nole as he finnished last match less than 24h. It could have easily been a double bagel and Nole didn't serve good but oh well :o .

Next up James Blake. No cameras on court 4 :wavey:

Korolev still has to learn that tennis is about how to construct the point but not just ball-bashing competition.

Good luck in the next round, Nole! Against Blake, right?

and it will be Djokovic's last match in this tournament as everybody know he just can t beat top players! :p

I really thought it would have been closer. Way to put a beat-down on the young guy, Nole. :yeah:

He needs to be looking at his quarter and fancying his chances with Fed out. Blake is definitely beatable for him and then it would be Ferrer or Moya who he should be favourite against as well.

God it pisses me off how much success Novak is having.
He has absolutely 0 talent, and does nothing but hit deep and crosscourt.
Probably the least coordinated sportsman I've ever seen, but he's winning title after title.

Korolev is overrated

its more of inexperience than anything

Marat took the shit out of Nole in Aus Open 2005
gave him about 3 games or something.

no one said Djokvic wasnt gonna get to where he is now (apart from a obvious few)

I prefer saying that he's well rounded. Sounds better. He has no distinctive strength, but also no weakness as well. He's very good in all aspects of the game, both physical and mental.

Yeah, every young player who loses a match is overrated

I am disappointed from the scoreline, acually I expected RMK to put pressure on Nole's serve but exactly the opposite happened. Talk about accurate predictions  Congrats to Nole, he has the chance to go deep here. RMK needs matches at this level, even if they turn out to be a bit traumatic.

RMK is going to have to learn some defensive skills over time, bit like Gonzalez has of late.

Good tournament and he is still on the way up and he will learn from this and now Nole plays Benneteau and this is a match he should win, but he has to follow up from this performance.
