Korolev has been on fire since the Vegas "incident" and Dmitry was playing his first match since the AO.

Well, 'Round-robin Slayer' strikes again!

But what happened with Mitya after he was 3-1 up in the third?

Korolev appears to be a fighter. It's his second match in a short time when he comes back from he dead and wins. Kudos

When will Korolev meet Blake? That will be a match with many nice storylines ;)

in two rounds if it goes well for both of them ...
for Zhenya next round will be either Ginepri or Djokovic !

Tursunov's wrist was a mess after the AO. At least he can play again.
Anna's kuz might have a future.

Korolev was more interested in talking about ice hockey and making plans to see his “best friend” Sergei Federov when he comes to the region to play the Mighty Ducks next week. (Work out the degrees of separation: Anna Kournikova used to go out with Federov. Anna K. is Korolev’s cousin.)

But before he left to play soccer with Safin and a few other Russians, he did look back on the incident that's increasingly looking the beginning of the end for round robin.

It was a night he’ll never forget, said Korolev – dealing with the round-robin fiasco, and also learning that he’d become an uncle for the first time. In fact, he’s now half-hoping he won’t be selected for the next Russian Davis Cup tie so he has time to go see his nephew after Miami.

Kournikova had a baby?

Kournikova is his cousin, not sister.

An excellent win for Korolev, he gradually gets confidence and, more important, experience. Dima faced a tricky opponent for his first match after his injury but it is great to see him back.
