Safin fights back from a set and a break down for the win. Also, was down another break in the 3rd. It was ugly, but he won.

Thank you LAWD!

It's reassuring to see Marat was still interested in playing tennis after going down a set and a break, and again at 0-3 in the third. :yeah:

He was fighting for his place on DC of course!!! It has nothing to do with winning the tournament.:bolt:

You know, if Marat had lost this one, I was going to ask if there was any way for Mr. Disney to step in.

I was thinking of this. Of course he would be in QF no matter what. They have spent so much money to make him come. They want to keep him. :worship:

I really hope James won't win the tournament. :help:

You must be a very young person then, or not a very long time Marat fan if you only now got to that point.
My condolences though.

it's been a long time coming...both injuries, this past off season, and the 07 AO--the patches of my hair I pulled out were starting to grow back too :(

Damn, I didn't get the joke until you mentioned J'torians name (I hadn't looked at the user names). :D I was seriously thinking about attendance money.

Anyways, time for a first touney win after a long break, so go get it, Marat. And don't forget to break a few racquets against Hewitt in the SF. :)
