I just wonder if Tim played horrible or LaLo remembered that he was going around the tour with the other guys to play tennis and not to promote the new brands of manicure

Safin lost to Lalo in 2005. ;)With a knee injury, on his least favorite surface and Lalo's favorite. :p But if Safin loses to him this weekend, though (you can't rule out Safin losing to anyone)...:tape:

Safin also lost to him in Athens Olympics 2004 whats the excuse then.
Safin isn't injured or tired in Athens.:) plus the surface is outdoor hard.

Yikes, at least it was close.

Point is, Lalo hasn't been play well, but Henman's been off for like 4-5 months.
Wouldn't be screaming retire yet.

Didn't mean to choose Safin in particular for spreading any struggles but my point is with all the inconsistency Lopez has, Every now and then he gets his episodes of waking up.

As for Henman, don't know has any reporter asked him about his retirement? Perhaps he might prefer to think about it after Wimbly if gets there.

Anyway, Feli...you won a match. You won two matches!

Stats aren't bad for Henman...he won just as many return points as Lalo, but didn't get close enough in one particular game to break. Lalo was always dangerous...can't expect Tim to come out and win straight away. Besides, he won a tiebreak, and that, for Tim, is a huge achievement

One good win and one bad loss for Tim. Ah well, it's all about getting matches in at the moment. He really should have beaten Feli though.

Well done, LaLo though. :smooch:

Lopez had two hard matches , both won in third set tb so he get some confidence + Henman wasn't prepared for long match . This is what I think ;)

From what I saw of the match, it was pretty even until Henman was serving *4-4 in the 3rd. Lopez made one great crosscourt winner to get to break point & then Henman double-faulted to put Lopez up *5-4.

Wow. Nice work, Feli. You get so used to hearing that he lost that it's a nice surprise when he wins a couple in a row. Well done!

Get some perspective people.

Tim was out for a while and must still be a little rusty. Let's see the year goes for him.
