Jan Hajek retired from his doubles match in Mexico, the ATP has listed heart as the problem? Does anyone know what happened? Was it serious?
(1)Dlouhy/Vizner d Cibulec/Hajek 64 1-0 ret. (Hajek heart)

Maybe he has an irregular heartbeat something like Malisse had during Wimbledon or perhaps he has a leaky valve like Magnus Norman did?
He played in Australia and issues with illness, so they could be linked, then they might not be. Hope it's not serious.

Hajek might have to undergo tests, if it's an ongoing problem. He was able to complete his singles match in the event.

i've also been wondering about his retirements. just check his results: he retired in basel, adelaide (doubles), sydney, australian open and now in acapulco. that makes five straight tournaments where he retired in a match! george, you said he was ill in australia, do you have more infos?

I am not sure what the problem was with him in Australia, but he retired after 3 games in Melbourne and he had some sort of illness. I think there was a problem with the heat earlier, but his match with Ferrero was on Day 1 and it wasn't that warm.

He retired from a tournament this year (don't remember if Adelaide or Sydney) and it was listed dizzyness, which is not something clear
