Davydenko was pretty tired, semi-finals of rotterdam in a 2 1/2 hour epic with ljubicic and then nearly a 3 hour match with younes, the guy was tired.

How did Kolya play? Bad? or was Ollie too good in the 2/3 sets?

Davydenko wasn't playing his best. And Ollie... Well, he played the brilliant defence that he often plays (i'm cheering for him to win the title. :P He deserves it. )
Kolya had much too many unforced errors, couldn't handle some shots that he should have handled. Double-foults at key points were also present. He looked on top most of the time, but couldn't finish points off and the match went the way it did.
Davydenko should have won in two tough sets.
