Nooo!! Did he really withdraw? Did anyone see Henman yesterday vs Massu? Did he injure his shoulder? Did they announce it on the website? Aww..poor guy:sad: :(

I don't think they announced it on the official website. I turned it upside down to find some info. :(

From the BBC website

Injury forces Henman out

Henman had reached the third round at the RCA

Fifth seed Tim Henman has pulled out of the RCA Championship with a shoulder injury.
Henman cited inflammation as the reason for his withdrawl.

He was due to face Dutchman Martin Verkerk in the third round of the event in Indianapolis but pulled out only hours before he was due to take the court.

He had struggled past Chile's Nicolas Massu on Wednesday and his preparations for the US Open which starts on 26 August have been thrown into chaos.

Verkerk advanced straight into the quarter-finals where he will play the winner of the match between world number one Lleyton Hewitt and Rusedski.

They were due on course later on Thursday.

Oh, that's so sad for Tim! I hope he gets better for the US Open, though.
Thanks for the article, Jessi :)

Yeah, I was wondering why the Yahoo site had "walkover" on Timmy's match.

This sucks  I hope Tim can still make the Open.

What a win for Greg!! :D:bounce:
This is why I think he's had a far better career than Henman, because he has the ability to beat the top players and he's proven it time and time again.

I just hope he can keep this form going in his match today!! :)
