7 Henman, Tim (GBR)
8 Moya, Carlos (ESP)

Should be Moya before Henman, because the seedings will be based on last Monday's ranking (12th).

Anybody heard confirmation on whether Agassi and Nalbandian are in? I think they are probably not playing. Any other injuries?

hmmm...I wonder why Roger pulled out?

I know why Andre pulled out. He didn't plan on playing it to begin with.

I wasn't expecting Andre to play either, but Roger pulling out is a bit of a surprise.

Mind you, I won't be astonished if Andy doesn't play, given he's really tired after DC and not likely to get any break after Houston.

David hasn't officially pulled out yet, but it is likely - he will make an announcement tonight or tomorrow

Thanks Rosie. I really hope David is fully recovered soon - tennis is duller without him, but it's definitely not worth him playing if he's not 100%. Sounds like MC is going to be similar to last year, with all these pullouts...

Well they say the injury is better and he is practising without pain, - just that he is not 100% match fit after such a long lay-off. Barcelona would be a better come-back tournament for him - less media attention and a slightly weaker field. He has certainly gained a lot of weight in the last couple of months, which is not so good.

Entry list predictions
I think this is going to happen in the clay season:

1 Federer, Roger (SUI)
2 Ferrero, Juan Carlos (ESP) +1
3 Roddick, Andy (USA) -1
4 Coria, Guillermo (ARG)
5 Agassi, Andre (USA)
6 Moya, Carlos (ESP) +2
7 Nalbandian, David (ARG) +2
8 Grosjean, Sébastien (FRA) +2
9 Schuetller, Rainer (GER) -3
10 Henman, Tim (GBR) -3

OK, I admit, maybe the last part is a bit too extreme :p

Carole, unfortunately I don't think it's likely that Ferrero will overtake Roddick during the clay season. He's more than 400 points adrift, and with more than 2000 to defend, he'd probably have to win *all* the required events to overtake Roddick. It's not beyond the realms of possibility though, if anyone can do that on clay, Ferrero can.

it sucks that Ferrero played such a good year last year

Is Coria playing? He recovers from that kidney stone yet?

Fed didn't play Monte Carlo for no reason last year. I'm not surprised he doesn't play there this year either.

Does anyone know why Irakli Labadze is not playing?
thanks Ika.

Labadze isnt there because his ranking wasnt high enough when the acceptance list was made pre Indian Wells. And obviously he can't play the qualifying event either as he has other matters to attend to.
