Still hasnt been answered.

1.. Which two teammates didn't talk to each other at all during their Davis Cup matches? The span was between 1988-the mid 90s.

2. Which player has managed to win a match after saving 9 match points twice? Whom did he beat and where was it? This player stil plays on the tour.

3. Which 2 Finnish players have gone the furthest in any Slam? Name the Slam, the round he lost and the opponent? One has already been named, name the other, he is retired and it was between 1988-1995.

4. Have any Georgian players ever made a Grand Slam final in the Open era? ( A bit tricky)

This one hasn't been answered yet either.

Which two players in a doubles match were involved in a dare by one of them to his partner to belt the ball out of court as far as he can. I want the team and the opponents as well?

One clue is that 3 of the players are still active.
Second clue is that one of them has a link with Safin.
Third clue it was in 2000.

Other way around it was Tarango that dared Rosset to do it and then Rosset belted the ball out of court.

Veli Paloheimo reached last 16 at Melbourne Park and lost in straight to Wilander, it was in 1990.

Yes, the big Finn Veli Paloheimo was the player I was looking for, he played very well in that match and even after spraining his ankle at the start of the 3rd set and he couldn't run, he didn't give up.

Rosset won all his live rubbers in Davis Cup this particular year, I also know he lost 4 times to Goran in 1992 but had his revenge when it mattered the most in the games (those four five setters in a row... ).

Good answer, but not the one I was looking for. There is a link to both the DC and Olympics and that's the only clue I will give for now. :)

These ones to go.

1. Which player has managed to win a match after saving 9 match points twice? Whom did he beat and where was it? This player still plays on the tour. The player has been named and one of his victims, name the other victim and venue.

2. Besides winning the Olympic gold medal and a Slams doubles title? What rare feat did Marc Rosset achieve in this particular year?

3. Which current Spanish player as a junior stole one of Andre Agassi's shirt?

4. Who was the last player to win a mens GS title and a gold medal for his country at the Winter Olympics and what was the event? A clue it has been done since WW2.

*Alexander Mronz lost to Andre Agassi in the 4th round at Wimbledon in 1995, what was bizzare about his progress during an earlier round that year?

Before he lost to Agassi at Wimbledon, he beat Tarango in the previous round. Earlier that year in Seoul he beat Tarango, but again he lost in the next round after that win.

i'll give it, was alot more interesting though :p
that was the match when tarango was 6-7 1-3 down and walked off the court, defaulting the match with his "you are the most corrupt officials in the world bla bla !!!!"
and got a whopping fine later.

That was a nasty question and you still haven't answered this one.

Which was last player to win a GS title and a Winter Olympics gold medal? Name the player and the sport they won the medal in? The clue is that it has happened since WW2.

Leena

The Tarango thing was classic.

I still can't believe he did that... what a bonehead move. Threw away his best GS performance ever.

a tennis player who won a slam, then a winter olympic gold

That has already been answered.

It was Alex Metrevelli when he made the Wimbledon final in the 70s.

Far from it, you have gone plenty of the answers to these respective questions. Fedex and Escude are nice enough to ask you WTA questions, whereas I am not that nice.

1973 Jan Kodes (CZE) def. Alex Metreveli (RUS) 6-1 9-8 6-3

Was 9-8 a typo?

Explain if it's correct.

It would have been the Soviet Union then for a start, but it was probably a typo.

Besides winning RG, what do the past 3 RG champions have in common?

You are talking about what do Costa, Ferrero and Gaudio have in common. They are all native Spanish-speakers.

I know Costa and Gaudio have won on their first final appearance, but that rules out Ferrero as well.

They didn't win a match at the TMC in the year that they won Roland Garros.

I knew that Gaudio absolutely bathed Costa in the final, then he lost this year to "El Crampredo". Ferrero lost to Safin and beat Moya in a top class match and Costa easily put away Portas.
