Well done to the Argentine guys for stepping up and taking on the challenge of winning this tie without Nalbandian.

2 down, 1 to go.

Good for Willy. :)

Maybe we will see JMDP play a dead rubber if it comes to that on Sunday? It would be a great way for him to get experience under little pressure.

Canas has been on fire and very motivated since his is comeback, on clay i wouldn't discount him even against Federer or Nadal.

It would be nice to see him have a strong clay season. Don't know if he could beat the Feds or Rafa but I would love to see him win a title.

And it would be lovely if there would be a quick one paragraph synopsis that everyone would have to read of the whole banning incident so folks could understand what happened instead of just accusing him of cheating. I still find it curious that folks must think that he purposfully winked a message or something to the pharmacist in Mexico to screw up his prescription. ;)

Bitterness.

0-2 tends and total humiliation tend to do that on some people. Specially when they were claiming the one butchered today is, after Roger, the best player of the ATP.
We must keep with our bussines, we need only one more point. Let sour and envy people choke in their own bitterness

(by the way and as aclaration, the moking is only for the brainless poster of "Dopping". Not to the other chilean people)

Relax, I don't mind you supporting your cheaters at all :wavey: It doesn't mean I have to do the same. I'm against things like this.

Please, stop responding this Braindead (a good username for that person). Someone probably is really miserable in his personal life that needs attention like a kindergarden kid. When he sees that his stupid posts are ignored, he's going to leave and we can talk like adult people again.

Now, if we win tomorrow, Mancini will probably make Del Potro to play in Acasuso's place and debut in DC. Cañas will probably ask him to play to have more competition (after all he played only 1 ATP match since he came back).

http://www.itftennis.com/shared/medialibrary/pdf/original/IO_20386_original.PDF --> "(...) the tournament doctor prescribed a different medication for Appellant (cañas), but this prescribed medication was not delivered to Appellant as he mistakenly was given the rofucal intended for mr. Carvallo.
(...) Once the panel accepts that apellant has met his burden of proving how the prohibited substance entered his system, the question of his level of fault or negligence needs to be determined.
(...) The appellant assumed mistakenly that he was taking medication prescribed by a tournament doctor. He did not feel the need to examine the medication he was taking or to read the label on the box. He was confortable that he was taking medications which did not contain a prohibited substance based on his reasonable expectation that the prescription of the tournament doctor had been filled correctly. However, what is determinative of the level of fault is not only what the player actually knew or expected but also what he could have suspected. (...) he could have at least made the effort to double check the prescription he was given

booooooooooo

a shame that Melzer lost against a positive tester who cheated on other players :ras:

I will always root against Canas for his entire career, even against Federer
such guys have to be eliminated who cheat on fair players like this and who are making ruin to the sport
