His coach has been with him since he was a teen, methinks. They're close like family, which would make it difficult for Blake to fire him.

Blake's DC chances are certainly gone now. Roddick and the Bryans are set in stone, and I think Fish will be the fourth and final player on the team. Ginepri and Dent still have a shot, I suppose, depending on how well they do here.

Unbelievable... Spadea is proving a bit of a nightmare for him since he also beat him at Scottsdale a few weeks ago, but this is just ridiculous. I'm willing to bet that when Blake served for the match, Spadea knocked the ball over the net and let him spray his shots everywhere except in.

ummmmm not so sure. Mardy just lost the first set against Benneteau and quickly went 0-40 on his opening service game in the second set. oh he got it back to deuce... I wouldn't be surprised, if Spadea beats Safin or Robby does well.... that one of them gets the second spot. PMac has to name the team by Wednesday I do believe.

I was at the Scottsdale match and that was pretty much what happened there....so wouldn't be surprised if that's what happened yesterday, but even worse. At least in Scottsdale James only lost 5-7 not 1-6 lmfao.

James actually didn't hold serve from 5-4 on in the second yesterday. His one game in the third was a break back.

I have to say, this welcome made me feel happy for joining this forums, up until lately I only read messages posted by others, but now I feel confident enough to post :)

Well Mardy is about to go down in straight sets to Benneteau, which is an even worse loss than losing to Spadea. So I guess Mardy's DC position is not so secure after all.
