So difficult one.
Baggy has 2-0 h2h, but Ljubo is the most dangerous indoors

I cant put a penny on this one...maybe Baggy has the edge. Who knows?

I think Baggy, and should say Baggy as Ivan wins when I say he doesn't

But seriously, Ivan will have to serve well if he is to have the upper hand. Baggy's returning is dangerous...and I don't see Ivan breaking him that often. I wonder how much energy he has left?

Ljubicic. It's his home tournament after all. I think he'll pull out all the aces at the right moments to seal it. Baghdatis still isn't the most consistent of players.

Baggy in 2, he seems to handle serves very well, and obviously has an upper hand in subsequent rallies. Also, he will be hungry for his 2nd title. Not sure how motivated Ljubo will be.

really motivated...he wanted Baggy bad...anywhere...even better since its in Zagreb....Ivan serves over 60% first...easy 2 setter.

Ivan usually gives away a service game each set, in terms of serving all 2nds. Sometimes the opponent fails to capitalize on the gift, but a loose game is almost bound to happen. Total % of 1st serve doesn't matter; if you serve aces the whole match and miss all the 1st serves in just 1 game, you can still lose that set. So it depends on whether Baggy will be there to punish any mental lapses Ljubo might experience while serving.

baggy wil extend his H2H advantage in 3 sets 6-7, 6-4, 6-3

I hope MArcos will win , because he is better player but who knows MM tournaments are the the only place where Big Head can win something

This is tough to predict because on one hand Marcos is a bad match up for Ivan but on the other hand Ivan plays a final at home. I would say Ivan in 3 but based on my recent prediction streak it probably means Marcos will win.

From what I saw in last year's AO Baggy seems to be a bad matchup for Ljubo. I say Marcos in 3 even though I do not have any coverage of this event and I cannot gauge either player's form at the moment.

Ljubo in terible and horible form :help:

Bad karma....

Last year at the AO, Ivan had been waiting to play Bags since the AO defeat in 2005 (he wanted revenge, he said).

Ιf Markos doesnt selfdestruct(his favorite way of losing) then i dont think Ljubo can win.Sure he serves very big but one loose game is what is needed. When exchanging groundstrokes Ljubo has no chance really. The only way i can see him winning a set is on a tiebreak.

It was last year not 05. He'll get some sweet revenge on his favorite surface and in home crowd. :)

No, it's true what R.Federer said...
Last year ('06) Ivan was talking about revenge, cause he lost to Baggy in '05 too... And then he lost again.

Ljubo has lost in the AO to Marcos to consecutive years.:) He wanted to take revenge in AO 2006 of his defeat in AO 05.

They both have done well by putting AO behind them and getting to the final, so good for them. They'll hopefully have a good season going forward.
