Must be getting a bit tired now though.

What is it now, 0-6 for Youzhny against Ljubicic? And if he'd been close to beating him in just one of their matches and lost you could call it a choke, but it's happened to him so often against Ljubicic that it has to be a bad match-up for him in the tight moments. He's won the first set 6-2 twice against him this year and still ended up on the losing side. But it's amazing how many people have choked against Ljubicic these last couple of years, isn't it? Almost as if he had some say in the outcome himself.

 A preposterous notion. Why, I might even consider it a MTF blasphemy.

On a more serious note, it is true that this match was Misha's to lose. The fact that Ljubo started serving madly at the crucial moment, *4-5 0-30, certainly didn't help him. It was just 2 points to victory, Misha probably started to think it was over.

Another Ljubochoke, his second of the year. And both from 6-2 up.

At least all three of Misha's losses this year have been to Top 5 or Top 10 opponents. Keep building the confidence, and eventually you'll get the win over Ivan.

My "boy" Andy won TMS and made Final of Slam much better than winning countless MM tournaments , he has proved himself on big stage in his worst season when Ljubo having the best season was  in biig tournaments

All this talk about choking is a bit annoying. Sure, Youzhny lost the match because he choked. He should have won. But anyone who has played tennis for real, knows how it feels like when the sets are even, and the third set is tight as hell. In a situation like that, even the easiest shots suddenly become very very difficult.

My point is that there is not a single tennis player who hasn't choked. It's part of the game. What happened to Youzhny was annoying of course. But you shouldn't laugh at Youzhny or anyone else, unless you really have played competitive tennis and you know how it's like to play a long and tight match where you have a chance of winning. It's not easy!

Youzhny is really a tough opponent,a very good player.
Against Baghdatis,it will be tough, but Ljubo has the crowd who helped him very much today, and if he'll serve well he can win.

Doha is not an MM (unless all events outside the GS and TMS are)
He plays Zagreb because it is 1 of only 2 events in croatia (and he doesn't play the other one anymore).
Blake plays all 15 MM events in the states :o
