Why Is Connors A Baseline Player Trying To Teach Roddick S&V?

Seems you haven't watched Connors a lot: in the later part of his career he was going to the net A LOT and was doing something very clever that Roddick hasn't got yet: great approach shots. He was a master in that, believe me. Not the Edberg/Rafter type going to the net after every single shot, because his serve was not good enough, but another kind of all-court player...
So he's the perfect guy to complete Roddick's game in his way to the net.

Because like TheMightyFed said, Jimmy wasn't just a baseline player. Yes, that was a big part of his game. But Jimmy could do it all. Unlike most player's today (except Fed).

Connors is ideal coach for Andy he want allow him to have meltdown or something he will push him harder and harder as he pushed himself in the past and it is what Andy needs :worship:

According to classification, Connors is a all-court player (Baseliner + Serve-and-Volleyer).

Now Federer is neither pure Baseliner nor pure Serve-and-Volleyer, he is a all-court player
