Bunk, do you know when the main draw starts:)?

03-23-2004, 01:00 AM
that's funny... thanks for posting: I have confirmation now that Dupuis and Mónaco won because they are going to play tomorrow, too... but I still can't find their results. What's going on there? did both win due to retirements of their opponents?

03-23-2004, 01:04 AM
Billabong, the main draw starts on Wednesday, according to both the tourney site and the ATP site. The seeds won't start their second round matches til Friday though it looks like.

And Neely that is funny! Maybe they just forgot to put up the scores for some reason - just fell through the cracks or whatever.

03-23-2004, 01:05 AM
I see... and that explains why the live coverage starts late on TSN;)!

03-23-2004, 01:06 AM
I downloaded the new version of the Qualie draw and according to it,

Dupuis d. Simmonds 36 62 76(4)
Monaco d. Lapentti 57 75 41 ret.

so yeah I guess Lapentti did retire.

yea, ESPN in the US isn't showing anything til Sunday afternoon and even then it's only 2 measly hours! Sucks!! The coverage is way worse than it was for IW :( Less overall coverage and more is tape-delayed. It's b/c the NCAA basketball tourney is heating up. Damn March Madness

03-23-2004, 01:10 AM
Yep same thing here;)! Cuz TSN takes its coverage from ESPN;) lol!

03-23-2004, 01:16 AM

03-23-2004, 01:19 AM

March madness is awesome. I'm glad they show it more than tennis, cuz you know that all they're gonna show are agassi, roddick, davenport matches. I wonder who's going to win...

03-23-2004, 03:24 AM
Go Brian!! Give me a birthday present :D

Dmitry vs. Robert
I like both of these guys but knowing how they both play I don't know who to root for. I just want one of them to step up during the match. Dmitry is the consummate slow-starter while Robert loves to throw temper tantrums even when he's winning :p .

Go Franco

Go Mónaco :) *I'm glad you'll come to Ecuador ;) *

03-23-2004, 04:49 PM
Good luck Arvind :D

03-23-2004, 05:12 PM
this time Verdasco didn't blow the set... he could have won the match now if he hadn't blown the 1st set serving for the set now at 6-5... anyway, I give Mónaco still a good chance to win... I think these are two great youngsters playing against each other.

03-23-2004, 05:46 PM
Good luck Arvind :)

Keep your good form going.

Tough match coming up though.

03-23-2004, 05:51 PM

03-23-2004, 06:39 PM
Parmar leads Hernych *4-1 :D

Double Break, What a start!

03-23-2004, 07:02 PM
Parmar wins the first set 6-4 :D

Keep it going Arvind!

03-23-2004, 07:40 PM
Parmar loses the 2nd set 2-6 :(

1-1 in sets with Hernych.

Come on Arvind win the final set.

03-23-2004, 07:53 PM
Hernych leads Parmar *4-0 in the final set :o

What has happened to Arvind?

03-23-2004, 07:58 PM

03-23-2004, 08:24 PM

Congrats to "Pico" Monaco!
Great win against verdasco.
He's for real. Definetely has the goods.
He will surely reach Argentina's second tier (like Top 40), and Top tier isn't out of the question.
Despite he formed himself abroad, as all Argentines, needs to develop his serve.

03-23-2004, 11:17 PM
Thanks for the results guys:)!!!

03-23-2004, 11:24 PM
Dmitry :D
In the match between my two headcases...lol...Dmitry definitely stepped up today. He broke Robert at Love to go up 5-4 and serve for the match. As I was watching how the first set was going I had no idea whose concentration was going to last  . Only now Dmitry has to play Andrei tomorrow

Poor Brian  Another heartbreaker. He was serving for the first set at 5-4, seems to choke and then goes on to lose the TB. I started to get hope back when he got back on serve in the 3rd but theen the dreaded 4-5 game  .

At least he has one win for the year now though

Do you know a site with photos of the qualifying?
Thank you!!!
