03-22-2004, 03:04 PM will be putting down the cucumber and gazing at that trophy with a dropped jaw.

It's a humpback whale, what's the big deal? With this being the Pacific Life Open and all, that particular type of whale happens to be somewhat representative of the Pacific Ocean. The Paris trophy, on the other hand... I get the idea of names on the branches, but it's still something that only the French could come up with.

It's a bad picture and definitely not one of the nicest out there, but it's not the trophy itself that counts, in my opinion.

Love will drool all over herself gazing at that trophy....

Which of the TMS's offer s unique trophy again? I know IW has the whale, Miami has the large glass bowl thing, and Paris has the "tree".

Henman probably tanked the match after seeing the trophy :tape:

Please, have you ever seen "the hand" of Open 13 in Marseille? It looks like a bad terror movie. That trophy should be for Justine Henin-Hard-on

All I know is that Rome offers a great piece of silverware, it's what a trophy should look like. Boy, it was disappointing seeing Federer hold the runner's-up plate when this enormously prestigious trophy was in Mantilla's hands...
