Federer Simply Fabulous

Top seed and INDESIT ATP 2004 Race leader Roger Federer confirmed his standing as the most potent force on the ATP circuit by crushing Tim Henman 6-3, 6-3 in the final of the Pacific Life Open on Sunday. Federer claimed his 11th consecutive match win and improved to 22-1 on the season by winning his second ATP Masters Series title. "This is one of the biggest tournaments in the world so it's very nice to win it," Federer said.

I was surprised Roger easily beat Tim, too. Now it looks like no one can stop the Fed Express. (except maybe JHH :tape: )

Roger :worship: for winning and getting a nemesis off his back

Timmy  for making the finals and hopefully going on to play more great matches (and win a title here and there)

scoreline was definetely fair and reflected the week, tim didnt get whipped but was beaten by a federer who cant be stopped now.

Tiredness, fatigue and rest can only stop federer now.

was still a good match and well played roger but keep the form up tim in TMS and go for a career best ever ranking.

So happy... now that Fed's thrown the 3 monkeys off his back (Agassi, Nalbandian, Henman), he's going to enjoy a long run of titles this year.

this reminds me of exactly 10 years ago in 1994 when Sampras went on a rip and won the AO and then the 2 masters back to back

Roger won Wimbly ten years after Pete won his 1st. I hope this isn't a sign, well actually I do. Please god just throw a RG or two in the Rogi bag. :worship:

Agassi did the same thing in 2001.

The reason I mentioned Sampras is that people see a lot of similarities between him and Roger

Great win for Federer. Henman helped him too though, I thought, making a lot of unforced errors. Pity he wasn't more on top of things, it could have been a better contest. Federer is looking nigh-on invincible!

tim said he wasnt allowed to play his best thx to roger's play (rogi's serving especially), i somehow knew henman v federer OUTDOORS could make a diff from all those henman wins over fed (5 indoors, 1 grass = Faster), i really wonder how rogi can do in Miami now, he never seems to tire, but he's now gone 23 outdoor matches unbeaten (since the davis cup loss to hewitt)

tim'll get his revenge somewhere along the line at Wimbledon ;)

I hope not. Roger plays very well on grass. Is and indoor surface the same as grass in terms of speed?
