His win over Malisse in Wimbledon 2002, the USO SF against Roddick was sad but he played great and diserved to win, the Basel SF against Roddick and when he won the USO junnior title.

pretty much every match at the us open last year was awesome, those matches vs. philipoussis, federer and roddick (well first two sets anyway) were some of the best ive seen him play. :worship:

His victory over Roddick in the Basel semi-final last year was great becasue I was there and it was a little revenge for the US Open semi! I also loved his 4-set win over Federer in last year's US Open (sorry Fedex!), his semi-final against Malisse in 2002 Wimbledon, and this year's Kooyong Final success over Agassi!

Oh - and for no particular reason I loved his tense, 3-set win over Max Mirnyi at Paris Bercy in 2002. It was a very hard match, went on very late on an outside court, and I was there in the front row sitting right in front of Gabriel Markus (David's then coach!) and just screaming and cheering the whole match til my throat was so sore I couldn't talk anymore!

David def. Roddick Basel 2003
Agassi def. David RR MC 2003 (I still can't believe he lost that one, but I know he played a GREAT match!)

Hmmm - Alberto Mancini - I never knew that about you Sigma! So perhaps now he has split with Coria you could interest him into becoming your own personal trainer!!! So David doesn't have any real competition in my eyes - I'm definately a one man woman :) but Gabriel IS cute - and so's Franco Davin (Gaudio's former coach)

Franco? Not my type. Mancini and Markus, because they are closer to my age, yes-definitely yes. Especially Markus...Now, David is younger, and he would be great for those I-need-a-hot-younger-man moments (which, lately, has been all the time, so Rosie, you still have competition).

Oh poor Juan-Ignacio - he's a sweetie , - but, no - don't worry - not THAT sweet! And I guess Mancini is not that bad - I'll just stick with David 24 hours a day though - and I guess I could just find some time for my good friend Eduardo as well :p

Yes - OK - I'll probably run out of energy before he does! Remember though, he has to face Radek Stepanek before Safin - and - let's face it - who on earth wants to face the gorgeous Mr. Stepanek :p

I love when I see Nalby play. He has is own style. Yeah I loved his matches from USO2003 and the semifinal (first 2 sets only as well) that was totally unfair, he should have won that match.

Umm..I enjoyed the matches from Toronto 2002 because I saw all his matches LIVE. I even taped the exciting 3 setter again Henman in which he saved matchpoints. There was a memorable shot where David hit a backhand that literally rolled across the net for a few seconds and dropped on the other side for a winner. That was really cool. I was surprised when I did that myself TWICE! playing tennis with my friend. He has since improved a lot. He was fat then but he looks fitter now.

I'm jealous. He's like some kind of porn star no?

Yeah, John, what a difference a year makes. From fat to fit, and from "not" to "hot". The porn star reference? We'll get back to you on that.... :o

Yes Clara I am inclined to agree wiith you. I am so sick and tired and depressed with all these injuries - I try my hardest to keep watching tennis and taking an interest, but it's not the same without David  The European season is almost here, and I had so many plans to go to so many tournaments, but now there's such a question mark over David's appearance, I can't see the point of spending money to go and watch other people when I could save it for when he is back fit and healthy. This bad news must change sometime soon - surely? The only person who is probably happy is my Boss, should I decide to come into work instead of taking too much annual leave at one time!!!
