1.Guga Kuerten He comes from Brazil and is the greatest character ATP has ever seen.

Other 4 are prob Nalbandian for his great angles and baseline game, Santoro for beeing the greatest, most memorable, unique and talented player to never enter the top 10, Federer for beeing the only real genius I have seen on a tennis court and finaly to include a legend of ancient times Borg because he is stuck in my subconscious like no other great.

1) Andre Agassi - For his style, his charm and his attitude. And his growth and maturity over the years. And his fabulous game style!
2) Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario - Her game was based not on her forehand, or her backhand or her serve. It was based on her gritty determination.
3) Justine Henin - Terrific work ethic, a great fighter, and the way she changed herself over time to be the best.
4) Kim Clijsters - For her sweet as sugar personality and her speed around the court. Loved to watch her play cuz she had such a different style, offensive game with a defensive position.
5) Svetlana Kuznetsova/Rafael Nadal - Both still young, and I need a fave. Love their games and personalities.

1) Roger Federer/Rod Laver Pete Sampras/ Martina Hingis/ Martina Navratilova (this bunch to me is the most talented in the open era)

2)Bjorn Borg/John McEnroe(softest hands ever) Marat Safin/ Ken Rosewell(awesome backhand) Evonne Goolagong

3)Lleyton Hewitt/ Hana Mandlikova/Chris Evert (Hingis designed her game after hers) loved her backhand

4)Patrick Rafter/ Stephan Edberg(classic serve and volleyers after Laver and Rosewell)Gustavo Kuerten (best one hander of his generation)/Andre Agassi(best hand eye coordination the modern game has produced) Monica Seles/ Jana Novotna

5)Tommy Haas/Venus Williams(love that backhand)/Lindsay Davenport (her backhand is only second to Venus among their generation and Hingis was more accurate) Honorary mention Arantxa Sanchez Vicario and Mary Pierce

I am thankful to the Tennis channel and to torrents for having the opportunity of seeing the games of the player of the 70's and 80's and early 90's. I think it was PBS too who had some specials on the history of the game, and I was able to witness some classics of Tilden and Budge and alikes. ESPN Classic too deserves a mention.

1. Andre Agassi (LEGEND), i liked his style of play, could care less about all this crystal meth and how he madde fun of sampras for being a cheap tipper
2. Pat Rafter, too bad he did not win a wimbledon singles title, he was close in 2001, such a heartbreaker, to this day, i still remember that match , but i liked his S&V style and he seemed like a very nice, genuine guy, im so glad that he is an Aussie
3. Rafael Nadal, yeh what a monster this guy is on clay, he was the only guy who had the ability to step it up and be a true rival to Federer, too bad injuries have taken such a huge toll on him, but he is a great fighter and I have heaps of respect for him.
4. Novak Djokovic, this guy just is not boring at all, no matter whether he loses after playing the worst match ever, or he wins matches easily (sadly not anymore these days...sigh), but i loved his impersonations and also the matches he plays against Rafa, love their rivalry, hope it keeps going. he has a very interesting personality, hope he gets his act together though.
5. Juan Martin Del Potro, well done to the big fellow on winning his first grand slam last year beating Federer in the final :worship:, get well soon, want to see him playing again, it has been too long...

Started watching tennis in late 70's and was a big fan of Borg's style of play and his on-court demeanor. In always rooting for Borg, conversely I was always rooting against Connors and McEnroe.

When Borg retired abruptly, that left me to root for the Anti-Connors and Anti-McEnroe - Ivan Lendl, and his pocketful of saw dust.

When Lendl started to wane in 1990, I admired Stefan Edberg's Borg-like stoicism and I grew to like the serve and volley for the first time.

Then Pete Sampras came along - enough said.

I admired Safin for his utter brilliance on the court - but his consistency was baffling.

And then - Roger.

So it was my first tennis-crush on Bjorn Borg that has pretty much determined who I would root for, for the next 35 years.

I started in the early sixties!
Rosewall- The ultimate overachiever, at 5-7, the little Roger.
Edberg- Beautiful game, an elegant serve and vollyer
Sampras- A stronger version of Edberg
Rafter- A slightly weaker version of Sampras
Nadal- Great mover, and just about the only player who could beat Roger in a Slam final and have a winning H-H

Federer for being the most sublime player ever to grace a tennis court. And he seems a great guy.

Martina Navratilova for being beyond brilliant on court and interesting off it

Boris Becker for having that mix I like in a man of great talent in his field and and air personal vulnerability
