Either Rafa in 4 or 5 sets - no straight set win for sure...

I'm seriously concerned about this match.

Wawrinka has a decent game to trouble Nadal, powerful and consistent from the baseline. If Rafa can find his pre-June 06 form I don't think he'll have a problem, but if he continues his form from the last 6 months it'll be a major struggle, and wouldn't surprise me if he lost.

Wawrinka is capable of the best and the worst. If he plays like he did let's say against Nalbandian in Basel, he has a shot. If he thinks he can't win or he is not capable of hitting the last shot to finish the point, he has no chance.

He would of watched the Kohli match, and thought to himself, if this guy can take Rafa to 4 sets, why can't I do the same and plus some, he'll have confidence going into it.

Stani won't pull off the upset unfortunately...

Wawrinka's got the tools and is definitely better player than Kohlschreiber. The score will be Wawrinka in 4 or Nadal in 4. I voted for Rafa anyway

I think stan has a good chance if he plays like he did against nalbandian in basle. I know he can be very powerful and thus outplay players à la nadal and nalby. Moreover rafa struggled against kolschreiber who is not as good as wawa. And stan is also very good in 5 setters so I truely think he could make a hugh upset in 2 days!

Rafa in 4.

Wawrinka is capable of playing fantastic tennis. Has he ever played Nadal? Because if he hasn't, we have no idea how much Rafa's topspin will affect him. Also, Stan isn't the most consistent of players.

Despite playing crap, Nadal remains #2...

Rafa in 4, although I think he'll need to serve better than he did today.

Anyway, I'm looking froward to seeing wawrinka's backhands down the line make rafa run down and scramble!!! :)

I'm afraid Stani lacks balls to really compete with that kind of grinder..

I don't agree! One of his biggest weapons is his never-die attitude on the court. Sometimes he kind of chokes but he never gives up IMO. We'll see but I think stan can and will trouble rafa!!!

Plus, it is a good thing he gets a shot at him before the DC tie!

if they play during the day, without the roof, rafa in 3....
if during the night, or with the roof, rafa in 4/5.....

Raffa in 4 - Wawrinka is resurging, but will make too many mistakes

Rafa in 4. Stan has all the abilities of creating the upset, but he has a tendancy to string together a whole bunch of UFEs at once. This will be his undoing I'm afraid in the match.

Wawrinka would have a very decent chance if it were best-of-3, but in a best-of-5 sets match it will be really tough for him to compete with Rafael's consistency.

Interesting : less people think that in a 5-setter Nadal will win than Stan

I think the outcome is clear: Nadal wins.
But I guess it's going to be tight match.

I don't think heat would disturb stan more than rafa. I think stan's physical strenght (endurance, resistance,etc...) is one of the best on the tour!

I have to agree on this! :(

But if he can avoid stupid UEs for 5 sets, I think he really has a good shot at rafa! :)

Well I have faith in Stan the man! And who knows if they play under the roof his chances are even bigger.
But it's going to be a though battle one worthwile to get up at 4 am again ;)

Allleezzzz Stan!! Tu peux le faire il faux just y croire!!

I think it'll either be Rafa in 3 or in 4. I ended up picking Rafa in 3. :)

I think every set will be close but Nadal will prevail. (hopefully :))
