Which Racket Do You Use?

Just wanted to know which racket is most used and what do you think are the ups and downs on your racket?

I play with the Muscle Weave 200G, the one with a 108 square headsize. It's black and looks like the one Haas is playing with.
What I like about this racket is the weight. You can quickly react at the net seeing that the racket a very light (9,1oz.)
Though if you're a baseliner I would recommend the one with the 95 square headsize which is the dunlop that Haas plays with. Because is't a bit heavier (12oz.) and I think that this helps with the power shots at the baseline.

Though I'm also a baseliner :) i think a chose my racket because I'm lazy and prefer a lighter racket which a can swing quickly without too much work :D

I use a Wilson Prostaff Tour (90). I like it because of it's heavy weight because it gives my vollies some punch. I used to use a 6.0, the classic 85 head size prostaff, but I cant find any place that sells it anymore, so I had to switch to the next best thing. I love the heavy racquets because I am a very patient guy on the court with long-ish swings, and I love to volley.

I have a question for any racket experts out there. I have just started to play again after a long time. I have an old Wilson Staff (it's an antique now!) and want to get a new racket. Trouble is, I have no idea which would be best for me, it's very confusing. I checked out the Head website, which gives recommendations, and its result was either the Liquid Metal 4 or 8. But they are so expensive, about 200 euro here (that's about $150). I am only a hobby player, don't take it too seriously. How much should I spend and can anyone recommend a good racket type?

Thanks a lot! :wavey:

If you used a prostaff, go to a Tour 90 or 95, or the 6.1.

I don't play that much nowadays, and all I know is that it's a Dunlop, but I also use an Estusa and a Head. I still need to buy a Yonex if I start playing a lot again :) Yonex and Sergio Tacchini, those are my brands!

Dunlop something or rather...

There was a picture of Tommy Haas and James Blake on it, so I bought it. I'm a sucker for lame advertisement.

Wilson Tour 90.

Great racquet, Domino- I agree, adds a nice stiffness to volleys.

I love Thundercloud, I've tried numerous Wilson racquets...and they all ended up smashed because I didn't like the feel and everything, and i threw them down! Thundercloud is really good for its price!

I know it's a powerful racquet (what is the power level  ), but what kinda feel is it on drop shots and junk balling  i love junk balling

breaking your strings has little to do with the racket itself. it has more to do with the way you hit the ball (top-spin vs flat) and how long the strings have been in the racket, for example. the brand of racket is largely irrelevant IMO.

Tennis Chick makes a valid point. Also, strings are irrelevant to me as you can always replace them.

Hope no one minds me bringing back this old topic. I'm currently using Wilson Hyper ProStaff 6.1 String tension: 60 lbs. I like this racquet alot. I did try my friend's Babolat Pure Drive Team over the weekend and it wasn't bad, either.

Has anyone tried the nCode racquets? Impressions? I'm thinking of getting one for my next racquet.
