Main sponsor BMW renewed the contract until 2007.
That's very important for the tournament and for future plans, BMW gives about 700.000€ for the BMW Open and is the title sponsor as you see ;)

Also early news are the the following players will participate... it's still very early... but they can be considered as quite sure though... Rudi Berger, the former chair umpire, is the tournament director of the BMW Open.

Tommy Haas
Rainer Schüttler
Lars Burgsmüller
James Blake
Paradorn Srichaphan
Sebastian Grosjean
Younes El Aynaoui
Jiri Novak
Robin Söderling
Joachim Johansson
Andrei Pavel
Stefan Koubek
Nicolas Lapentti
Martin Verkerk
Nicolas Massu ?
Jarkko Nieminen ?
Mikhail Youzhny ?
(Nicolas Kiefer will be out)

prize: 52.000 € and a that car

I think I will soon know more news... I will update this thread then.

Hey Neely, are you going to it? I am definitely going to try to go, since I live just outside Munich and work only a few kilometres from Iphitos! I think I'll be going for the first few couple of days (in case the Shaker is still in the middle of his nightmare run of form, I want to see him play before being knocked out :fiery: :bigcry: ), then maybe the final. Tickets aren't exactly cheap, though
