Murray is playing very well

I notice his fitness has improved. He has done a lot of fitness work with Gilbert in the offseason. He looks slightly bulkier. Can withstand continuous rallies more. I expect a top 8 finish by the end of 2007, and top 5 during 2008. Federer, Roddick(clearly the 2nd best player after just beating Federer), Blake(consistently making finals) Murray and Ljubicic are currently the 5 best players in the world at the moment. They are the ones to beat. Nadal is injured and a lot of other players are injured/not in peak form. Djokovic could make top 10 this year as well, i notice he has improved and has won a title in Adelaide.

My TOP TEN (based on current form /fitness NOT ranking points)

1. Federer

2. Roddick

3. Blake

4. Ljubicic

5. Murray

6. Djokovic

7. Carlos Moya

8. Xavier Mallisse

9. Marcos Baghdatis

10. Marat Safin

Bit of a silly thread. How can you rank players based on 'form' when half of the big names havent even played a competitive match yet?

I agree with Allstar, it's a bit too early
However, I think Murray and Djoko will crack into Top 10, while Richie won't

Murray's target should be top 5, he will easily make the top 10. I am 100% sure of that, there is no way he won't make top 10 if he stays fit.

Murray and "very well" can't be in the same sentence. That's the same as "Stevie Wonder" and "sharpshooter".

and Xavier Mallisse is very unlikely:eek:

He was playing well in this tournament, especially against Safin. I don't like him a lot, but he's not doing too bad.

According to Brad, his aim is to be able to have Murray being able to pull off a sleeveless top by Wimbledon 08

But apparently things are going well and we may even see it in Wimbledon 07 :p

I would rather see him make the top 5, than get rid of his stick arms. Funny joke from Brad though.

Guardian.

Trashy? Hmm, the piece was accompanied by pictures of a shirtless Andy, so maybe.

Lol, I remember reading that a few days ago as well.

I know they hired Mark Grabow as his new trainer. However I think it'll be at least another year before he's able to pump his guns after the big points. Although it seems to be working for him slowly but surely...Every little helps!
