Eurosport Aussie Open Pay Stream

Up to now I could only find mention of this on the german ES site, but if the US Open are any indication, then this service should be available for most/all of Europe.

- Live Stream for up to 3 courts
- Video-Highlights (Top Matches)
- Video-Interviews
- Video "on demand" (Top Matches)

1 day: 1,90 Euro
1 week: 2,90 Euro
2 weeks: 5,90 Euro

http://www.eurosport.de/tennis/australian-open/2007/sport_sto1051069.shtml

Pretty cheap, if you ask me, but wasn't betfair also supposed to have a stream? Although the Eurosport US Open streams only had 382 kB/s (Betfair has 650 kB/s), I really like the idea of having a Video Archive again.

Danke Four:Love :yeah:

According to the BetFair website they will be showing the Australian Open: http://sports.betfair.com/ (Click on 'Tennis' and the schedule is underneath the orange menu in the middle of the page)

Achso, so nutzt du 'freetranslation.com'? Lol.

At least we've got BBC interactive to rely on, though them only showing the evening session is a little disappointing.

For those wanting eurosport.de from the UK

Apology,

Access refuses

Sorry, the Australian open liveVideostreaming is available in your country not. They can pursue however all plays in the liveScoring and with live-comments.

Strange.

work for me (Inet Explorer only).

Due to the Betfair stream, I still don't know if I'll use it.

I think it is worth paying for the Eurosport stream; not only can you watch live (if you can stay up all night and still function the next day:D ) but you can watch a replay of the match you want when you want.

Perhaps this is a dumb question, but is anybody able to or does anybody know how to access the Eurosport pay stream from Canada?

Jimnik

The British one should work too since Eurosport has almost exclusive AO broadcasting rights in the UK.

They're now advertising the live stream on the Eurosport UK site, but they weren't a couple of days ago when four:love first posted about the Eurosport.de stream site.

Anyway I'll be signing up - the US Open service was cool. Good way to catch up on any good matches that I miss in the killer overnight stints (I can only manage a couple of those a week or I'll be left like a vegetable).

I only wish they do a French Open one this year too.

Damn, it seems it's not available for my country.
I get an error page with the message that my IP isn't matched with any country

How was the quality during US? Were you able to see the ball?

Ok, but not spectacular, since it was only 382 kB/s. You could see the ball pretty well though. Of course it's a matter of court color.

btw. which courts apart from Rod Laver, Vodafone and MCA have cameras?

I was wondering about that too and just assume it's court no. 2 and 3 because they are named "show courts". Can somebody who has been there confirm that?

And I'm disappointed with Eurosport that they don't have a feed of ALL courts with camera as they did for the USO.

I know Courts 2 and 3 are, but beyond those 5 I don't know.

I'm still thinking about that offer for week 2.
2,90 Euro is a good price for an entire week.

but on the other hand, I have to wake up so early and can't waste the time to watch tennis matches all night. it's so sad. let's see, maybe I am becoming sick and can't go to work for a couple days ^^

Well, in contrast to the FO and US Open they only have rights for three courts each day, so...

That's why the Video Archive is such a good feature.

TK1979 reminded me of it. I think it's been like this the last few years.

I see. So if it's 3 courts only per day for Eurosport then does that mean they have to pick 1 court each day as the 3rd one in addition to RLA and VFA then and cannot just select matches from various courts with cameras
