Surprised this hasn't been mentioned......

Good luck to him, I hope it isn't as bad as feared.

Yeah, it would be a shame if he wouldn't play there... In the case he wouldn't, LL would replace him?

MissPovaFan
01-10-2007, 12:10 PM
awww that would be really sad  The AO wouldn't be the same for me without Kolya

I hope he makes a decision before the draw is made. :)

This is about Davydenko and his injury, which I hope he will be okay and able to play.

Everything does not have to be about Ivan.

Was that going to me? If yes, please read my first post, the second one was just respond on tennisfancroatia's post...

no it was more to tennisfancroatia, really

Yeah you are right - it's just not very sporting to wish others would pull out. If Ljubicic had played as well as Kolya in the past 12 months then he would only then deserve the higher seeding.

Seedings are as they should to be :)

Kolya :( :(
hope its not a stress fracture, that could rule him out for months :( :(

I hope it all works out. I was kinda curious to see how far he could come at the AO.

Kolya! Is this a new injury or something that he might have tweaked?

Kolya! Is this a new injury or something that he might have tweaked?

Probably an aggravation of the injury he got in the Doha SF. Bad. Hope it doesn't hamper him at the AO (the surface's supposed to be more 'user-friendly' this year...)

The article says possible stress fracture though, which is a lot more serious.

Guess the key word for now is 'possible'. Anyway, You're right, that would be much more serious.

Good luck and soon recovery Kolya

It's only his fault , with the amount of tennis last year, and now he watned to play in 2 tourney in row, it better to play less with better results and take some time off

The moonballer that can't volley and was schooled by Malisse and Guccione this year. The same one that is Blake's bitch?

Yeah. I got that. ;)

The guy who has a 6-3 winning H2H with Federer, the most dominating player around at the moment, and one of the most talented of all time :)

If he withdraws, I hope him and Nadal do it BEFORE the AO draw comes out. It will be annoying to see #33 seed take his place with possibly Robredo in the same quarter.

Big deal, that's going to change. Hewitt once had 7-2 against Federer. How is it now?

Guccione... :haha:

why must glenn use every thread as an opportunity for a couple cheap shots at nadal and to laugh at him for being injured against Guccione and saying that serve and volleying is the only true measure of talent, and since he cant do that, he is obvioulsy a no talent ballbashing moonballer?

Nadal has beaten Federer when he was no1 in the world, Hewitt when he was still a headcase. Bit of a difference, don't you think ;)

You must be that desperate and worried about Nadal that you think Guccione actually beat Rafa

You don't know too much about tennis, do you? Hewitt defeated him when he was playing DC SFs. If he won he could have a DC title now, and that would make him even more important than he already is.

No, there's not. Hewitt's last win was in 2003, after Wimbledon.

Sorry, did Guccione lose? Then he did beat and you're talking :bs: as usual.

Because he got on the bandwagon of Moya and Ferrero's DC victory?
By the way, defeating Roddick on clay is no big deal, any top 200 can do that.

Big deal, he already was the Federer as we know him now.

I think you'll find JCF (i like this guy btw) didn't contribute much to the Davis Cup success. You forgot about his back to back RG titles ;)

Nope, Federer as we know him occured after TMC 2003 I think you'll find.

Anyone got an update? I really dont want him to pull out.

And btw Davy has played 30 tournies a year for probably at least the last 5 years and rarely retires from injury proving he's really fit and can handle his schedule. He said in the post match interview he could never take too long off because he was from Russia... And besides this is like his 2nd tournament of the year after 2-3 months off, you can't really blame his schedule for the injury this early, it's just bad luck, coulda happened to anyone.

Dammit. Nice tennis from him when he is on. Get well Kolya.

He plays a lot, but he does well in the Slams, which is what matters most.
